Associate Professor Elbert Chia leads the Ultrafast Optical and THz Spectroscopy Laboratory in Nanyang Technological University (NTU), to study ultrafast dynamics of complex materials such as cuprate and pnictide superconductors, bilayer graphene, topological insulators, 2D transition metal dichalcogenides and halide perovskites.
Associate Professor Elbert Chia has published in top journals, such as Nature Physics, Nature Communications, Physical Review Letters, Physical Review X, Physical Review B, and Advanced Materials. He serves as an Editorial Board Member in Nature Scientific Reports, is a reviewer for Science, Nature Materials, Nature Communications, Physical Review Letters, Physical Review B, and ACS Nano, gave invited talks at Gordon Research Conferences, American Physical Society March Meeting, SPIE and PIERS Conferences, and wrote invited reviews for various journals.
