Kewei started her musical career as a backing vocalist for renowned Mandopop stars such as Wang Lee Hom, David Tao, A-Mei, and JJ Lin, but her love for music soon saw her picking up various instruments, such as the piano and erhu, as well as writing her own songs. Ever since, Kewei has released albums in English, Mandarin, and Japanese, and has toured across Asia.

Delivering music that range from modern, heart-rending ballads such as "Why Don't You Let Go" and "你还不知道" to upbeat tunes like “念念不忘" that infuses traditional Chinese music themes, it is no wonder that Kewei's music has been featured across Singapore's music charts from as early as 2009.
“Knowing that my music has inspired and touched the hearts of my listeners gives me strength to continue creating. With the knowledge that my works are protected by IP, I can do so with my mind at ease.”
Kewei’s talents have since clinched her multiple awards through the years, such as Best Newcomer in the Singapore Hits Awards in 2010, and the Young Local Artist of the Year in the 25 th COMPASS (Composers and Authors Society of Singapore) Awards.
