List of Experts

Find the experts that you need right here. The list below provides information on the experts' professions, industries and specific areas of expertise to make your search easy. The list has been expanded to include IA/IP valuation experts who could assist in IP and technology dispute resolution cases.

All of the experts on this list must be based in Singapore and fulfil the following criteria:

(a) Prior experience acting as an expert witness or assessor (i.e., provided oral evidence as an expert witness in court or arbitration tribunal); OR
(b) Minimum 10 years of experience in IA/IP valuation or the professed area of technical expertise and completed relevant course(s) as recognised by IPOS. Please refer to the list of recognised courses here.

If you are keen to join as an Expert, click here to apply.

IPOS and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) have also collaborated, with experts on the IPOS List of Experts automatically qualifying as WIPO Experts on its List of Neutrals. For more information on being an WIPO Expert on its List of Neutrals (comprising experts, arbitrators and mediators), please see the information here (in general) and here (specifically on IP valuation).

Alternatively, you may also wish to consider engaging the services of the members of the Asia Pacific Institute of Experts (APIEx). APIEx is a Singapore-based registered Society which aims to spearhead the development of professional expertise in the field of Expert evidence both locally and in the Asia Pacific region. In September 2022, IPOS signed a MOU with APIEx to jointly promote and train technical and valuation experts for IP and technology disputes.
